?Opt-Out??Scheme for November 2020 examination
Procedure for availing OPT?OUT facility :
Submit a declaration online available at official website?from November 07, 2020 (Saturday)?9.00 PM Onwards.
On submitting the declaration, candidature of the student for November 2020 Examination Cycle-I will be cancelled and he/she will be given the option to:?
- shift in next November 2020 Examination Cycle-II /tranche-II (to be scheduled in the second half of January 2021 / first half of February 2021)
- appear in May 2021 Examination Cycle
Kindly note that once option for ?Opt out? is taken, it will be treated as final. No request for its change will be entertained under any circumstances.
For remaining students who choose not to opt out, and appear for the exams commencing from 21st November 2020, the Institute has made all the required and necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of November 2020 examination (commencing from 21st November, 2020) across the globe including strict adherence to the precautions / measures related to COVID?19 which include thermal scanning, hands? sanitization, wearing of masks, maintaining social distancing at all times, following Government guidelines, etc. for the examinees / centre functionaries during the conduct of Chartered Accountant Examination.?

CA Foundation Nov 2020 admit card release date announced
ICAI is going to release the admit card for CA Nov 2020 exam on November 1 and the options to opt out from November 2020 attempt will open from November 7, 2020.
CA Nov 2020 revised exam schedule
ICAI has released the revised exam schedule for CA Nov 2020 exam. The Institute has postponed the exams again which were scheduled to be held from November 1 to 18, however, has been postponed again in view of prevailing circumstances.

ICAI releases notice for candidates appearing in CA Nov 2020 exam
The General Election to the Legislative Assembly of the State of Bihar will be on October 28, November 3 and 7, 2020. Moreover, CA Nov exam is scheduled to be held from November 1 to 18, 2020. Hence, the students who opted for the exam centre in Bihar, the Institute will soon release a notification regarding this.

Registration for CA Foundation 2020
Registration for CA Foundation is the first step in the whole process of appearing for the CA Foundation Exam 2020. Candidates have to register with the Board of Studies (BoS) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. No Student shall be allowed to appear for the exam unless registration is being done. To register online, the aspirants will have to provide their Personal Information and have to pay the applicable registration fees. Candidates are informed that the CA Registration is an evergreen process and can be done throughout the year.
CA Foundation 2020 Application Form
The application form for CA Foundation May 2020 exam has been released online at icaiexam.icai.org. No offline application form is released for the candidates. It can be accessed by those who have successfully registered with BOS before the cut off date. In the examination form, candidates need to provide their basic information, select the test center, and pay the required amount of application fee.
CA Foundation Application Fee 2020 – To submit the CA Foundation exam form, candidates need to pay the following amount of application fee.

Eligibility Criteria for CA Foundation 2020
A candidates has to fulfil the eligiblity criteria of CA Foundation course in order to appear for CA Foundation 2020 Exam. The criteria is mentioned in the section below.
- Candidates must have passed class 12th examination from a recognized board to be eligible for CA Foundation 2020 Exam.
- Candidates must have registered for the CA Foundation course with the Board of Studies (Bos) before last day of registration, or converted to Foundation Course with Board of Studies of ICAI.
CA Foundation 2020 Exam Pattern
Candidates who are preparing for the CA Foundation must ensure that they know the exam pattern for the test. Check the complete exam pattern for CA Foundation below.
- Mode of the exam: It is a pen-paper based test.
- Duration of the exam: The exam is of 03 hours duration for Paper 1 & 2 and 02 hours duration for Paper 3 & 4.
- Language of questions: Candidates have the option to write answers in either English or Hindi language.
- Total Marks: The exam is of total of 400 marks.
- Marking scheme: There is no negative marking for incorrect answers marked in Paper 1 and 2. Whereas, for incorrect option marked in Paper 2 and 3, 1/3 marks are deducted.

CA Foundation Admit Card 2020
CA Foundation 2020 admit card shall be available for download online at icaiexam.icai.org or through the direct link on this page. To download admit card, candidates require their login id and password. Along with the print out of the CA Foundation Admit Card, you will also have to carry a valid ID proof on the day of the test. No candidates shall be alowed to appear for the exam, if not carrying CA Foundation Admit Card 2020.

CA Foundation Result 2020
The CA Foundation 2020 result shall be announced in online mode only. Candidates will have to enter their roll number and registration number or PIN for downloading the CA Foundation 2020 result. Candidates will also get the option to check their CA Foundation result via SMS and mail. The CA Foundation 2020 result will contain the candidate?s paper-wise and overall score, and the passing status. CA Foundation 2020 result is declared, the ICAI shall also publishes the Merit list. The candidates can check the merit list of the top 50th ranks of candidates through online mode only.
